SARAWAK CRAFT COUNCIL
The Sarawak Craft Council was founded to promote local handicrafts. Through the Council’s promotion of native art, the indigenous people living in the rural areas have an alternative source of income other than farming.
The revenue generated by craft sales on Sarawakhandicraft.com.my and at our physical showroom and tradeshows helps preserve their artistic skills and talent which may otherwise be a lost culture in this modern world. Sarawak Craft Council serves to coordinate the various government agencies involved in handicraft development in Sarawak.
